Parking charges set to rise in Perth & Kinross from April.

Drivers in Perth and Kinross will soon be paying more for parking, as the council rolls out increased charges to help generate extra income. These changes are outlined in the 2025-26 budget, alongside a 10% council tax hike and higher costs for other services, including garden waste permits and school meals.

🔹 Parking Fee Increases:

✅ Perth City Centre: On-street parking up to £1.80 per hour

✅ Outer Perth: 10-hour parking rising to £7

✅ Crieff, Blairgowrie, Pitlochry, and Dunkeld: Hourly rates increasing across multiple sites

🚗 Car park season tickets and permits are also set to go up 🚗

📢 Other Increases:

🔺 Garden Waste Collection: £45 (was £40)

🔺 EV Charging: Up to 55p/kWh for rapid charging

🔺 School Meals: Primary £2.30, Secondary £2.95
